Sight seeing City Tour - Phnom Penh

Wat Phnom, Central Market transfer to town for check-in hotel.

Royal Palace, the Palace was build in 1866 by King Norodom, the Chan Chaya Pavilion, faces the Tonle Sap river and it is from here that King Sihanouk reviews parades. The Palace of King Sihanouk is rarely opened since the king lives there, and can only be viewed from the exterior, still a pleasant experience in itself. How ever, the Silver Pagoda (Vihear Preah Keo Morakot) located within Royal Palace, is now open every day.

The Silver Pagoda, within the Royal Palace compound, the Silver Pagoda gets its name from the silver floor made up of 5,000 silver tiles each weighing 1.1 kg. They were laid in 1903 and escaped damage by the Khmer Rouge. There is also a 90 kg solid gold Buddha encrusted with 2086 diamonds. The colorful frescoes depict Khmer version of the Buddhist epic. The Pamayana, the grounds also contain Wat Phnom Mondap with Buddha's footprint.

Near the Silver Pagoda is a building that bears no resemblance to Khmer architecture. The gray metal building was gilf from Napoleon III (Napoleon Bonaparte's Nephew). Presented in the 1869s, it was shipped from France and assembled in the Palace.

Departure excursion to visit Killing Field (Choeung Ek). This now peaceful stretch of countryside is vetted know as "Killing Fields" where over 10,000 people were executed. The remains of some of them are stored in memorial and in the shallow burial grounds around the memorial. The memorial was erected in 1988 to remind people of the atrocities the Khmer Rouge inflicted on other Khmer. The side is some 15km south-west of Phnom Penh.

Return to town for visit the Tuol Sleng Museum located in the south of the city, what was once Tuol Svay Prey High School is now a frightening reminder of the horrors of the Pol Pot regime. On April 17, 1975. The school become Security Office 21, Cambodia biggest torture chamber and prison. It is believed that 16,000 people died here.

Continuing to Phsar Tuol Tumpoung (Russian Market) center of traditional product from Cambodia & Viet Nam.

Dinner at Chaopraya Restaurant - Phnom Penh (seafood & international buffet menu relaxing and overnight at hotel).

DAY 2: PHNOM PENH - SIEM REAP

06:00 am:
Breakfast in hotel, transfer to Siem Reap - Angkor International Airport for flight to SIEM REAP by flight No.................... at .................... am.

08:45 am: Arrival Siem Reap Airport, pick up & transfer and check in at .................... Hotel. Sight and seeing Siem Reap town.

12:00 am: Lunch served at Tonle Sap Restaurant, from
Visit Architecture and bas relief of the 7th World heritage wonder of the main Angkor Wat Temple, Sunset View over the Angkor Wat from the top of Phnom Bakheng.

06:05 pm: Return to town for dinner with performance shows Haknoman history chapter & Apsara traditional performance show at Chaopraya Restaurant.
Overnight at hotel.

DAY 3: SIEM REAP - BKK (B.L)

05:00 am: Angkor Wat Sunrise from Early morning, return to hotel for breakfast.
Excursion to discover Banteay Srey or Citadel of Women, was Cambodia's last major Khmer temple to be re-discovered. located at 32 km from the Siem Reap.

12:00 pm:
Lunch at Monorom Chiness Restaurant.
Visit Angkor Thom temple: Victory Gate, Bayon, Baphuon, Phimean Akas, Elephant Terrace and Leper King Terrace, Takeo & Ta Prohm.

04:00 pm: Transfer to Siem Reap International Airport for international flight back to Bangkok by.......... Airline, flight No..........
